In tribute to the late Lee Hyla, we’ll be performing his LIVES OF THE SAINTS, a major work that he wrote for us in 1998. Lee died unexpectedly at a young age, and his passing is mourned by the many musicians and colleagues who worked with him. Patrick Greene, regional winner of the Rapido! Composition Contest in 2010, is writing his second new work for BMV, to be premiered alongside new works by this year’s three regional Rapido! finalists.
